Mumbai woman killed husband, dumped body in septic tank for 13 years

MUMBAI: A woman was on Sunday arrested for running a brothel and allegedly murdered three people including her husband, police said.

The woman had reportedly killed her husband about 13 years back and dumped his body inside the septic tank of her house.

The accused has been identified as 42-year-old Savita Bharati.

In 2014, she killed her husband Sahdev after he had reportedly spotted her in a compromising position with her lover Kamlesh.

Bharati along with her lover stonned Sahdev to death and covered the septic tank with cement after burying him inside.

On Thursday, Bharti will reportedly be produced before the Palghar court, added police.
