Mumbai: The makers of Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Indu Sarkar’ featuring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kirti Kulhari have unveiled the recreated timeless Qawwali – ‘Chadhta Suraj’ originally sung by Aziz Nazan.

Nazan’s son - Mujtaba Aziz has lent his voice to the recreated version of the Qawwali while Anu Malik has kept the original tune and essence alive by just adding contemporary music to it.

Also starring Anupam Kher, Tota Roy Choudhury and Supriya Vinod, ‘Indu Sarkar’ is set in the backdrop of Emergency in 1975.


The film is slated to release on July 28.
