100 shanties gutted after massive fire breaks out in Andhra slum clusters, fire tenders rushed

Amaravati: Over 100 shanties gutted in fire after a fire broke out in Kakinada city in East Godavari district on Friday.

However, there has been no report of any casualty so far, police said. 

The fire which broke today afternoon, soon turned into a blaze after it engulfed several shanties into it and is still out of control.

According to report several fire tenders have been rushed to the area and working on the spot in Kakinada city to douse the flames.
