Hyderabad: Six of the injured in Thursday`s terror attacks in Hyderabad remained critical, hospital sources said.

Three injured each at Care Hospital and Yashoda Hospital are battling for life with critical injuries.

The twin bomb blasts at crowded Dilsukhnagar area in the city Thursday evening claimed 16 lives and left 117 wounded. According to officials, 90 people were still undergoing treatment at six different hospitals. At the Care Hospital in Nampally, three out of 23 injured are in critical condition.

Those battling for life at Care Hospital include 25-year-old Yadagiri, who lost his left eye and sustained critical injuries on hands, stomach and leg. Vijay Prasad, a B. Tech student, is also in intensive care unit. The 23-year-old sustained serious injuries on head, chest and other body parts.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Sunday called on some of the injured at Yashoda Hospital and Omni Hospital, both close to Dilsukhnagar area.
