Patna: Minister of State for Skill Development and Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Friday expressed confidence of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) forming the government in Bihar, saying that a great support is emerging for the NDA in the ongoing assembly polls.
"Even in the first phase there was a very decisive movement of voters for the NDA. We can see that there is great support emerging for the BJP and the NDA. The writing is on the wall, we will form government in Bihar," Rudy told ANI.
"People are now looking for change after 25 years of the Congress regime, 15 years of Lalu Yadav's rule and 10 years of Nitish Kumar's rule. The minimum that the people want is five years of BJPrule," he added.
Polling for the second phase of the five-phase Bihar Assembly elections began at 7 am amid tight security in 32 constituencies spread over six districts on Friday
A total of 86,13,870 voters from Kaimur, Rohtas, Arwal, Jehanabad, Aurangabad and Gaya districts will decide the fate 456 candidates.
The second phase polling poses a big challenge for the security personnel as the six districts are Naxal infested.
