"The BJP will bounce back in Bihar and we are going to be the principal challenger and opposition in Bihar. This election was loaded against us. It is a defeat of the arithmetic," BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao told ANI.

Reacting to Bihar becoming the top Twitter trend in Pakistan, Rao said there was possibly lot of interest surrounding the Bihar election in the neighbouring country.

"There is possibly a lot of interest about Bihar and elections in India (in Pakistan) and state elections are examined with a great deal of interest all over the world," he said.

"One funny thing I find in this election outcome is that, everyone comes out and pulls out their own analysis and they attribute the defeat to a particular factor. My advice to all of them is to look at the Lok Sabha numbers and look at our numbers now. Our popularity has not diminished," he added.

Bihar elections were being monitored heavily across the border and the results sparked a major Twitter trend in Pakistan.
