Supaul: Three pilgrims, including two women, were killed and 20 others injured when a bus overturned near a village on NH-57 in Supaul district of Bihar today.

The incident took place when the private bus, in which the people returning to West Bengal from Ajmer Sharif, lost control and overturned near Saraigarh village, Bhaptiyahi police station in-charge Chandan Kumar said.


While a 70-year-old man, identified as Md. Ismail died on the spot, two unidentified women succumbed to injuries at Sadar Hospital, he said.


As many as 20 persons sustained injuries of whom eight were undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital, Kumar said.
