New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday cancelled bail granted to Rocky Yadav, the son of a suspended JD(U) MLC, in a case of killing Aditya Sachdeva in Gaya over road rage.
The order was passed by bench of Chief Justice TS Thakur, Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice L Nageswar Rao, on Bihar government's plea challenging the bail granted by Patna HC to Rocky Yadav.
Patna HC Chief Justice Iqbal A Ansari granted bail to Rocky in the case in which Aditya, son of a Gaya businessman, was shot dead in May this year.
Rocky is accused of shooting class XI student Aditya Sachdeva on May 7 following an altercation over overtaking. His parents, who were accused of sheltering him, were recently enlarged on bail.
Rocky is son of suspended JD-U MLC Manorma Devi and a historysheeter Bindi Yadav.
Bindi Yadav is known to have links with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of Lalu Prasad during the 1990s and early 2000s, and later became associated with the Janata Dal-United (JD-U), now led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
