Dreaded women Naxal arrested by ITBP in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: A dreaded woman Naxal was arrested by ITBP officials in Narayanpur area of Bastar district of Chhattisgarh.

The woman Maoist was carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh and 10 thousand on her head.

She was active in the Naxal-infested Narayanpur region.

Last month, three Naxals, accused of being involved in attacking the security forces, surrendered before the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in Narayanpur.

The Naxals, who surrendered before 45th and 46th battalion of the ITBP, were wanted in connection with blasts and firing on security forces during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

Over 180 Naxals have surrendered before security personnel in Chhattisgarh's Bastar district in the past three months.
