AAP is Congress` proxy party, cannot repeat its Delhi show: BJP
Dubbing AAP as `Congress`s proxy party`, BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the Arvind Kejriwal-led outfit `has been exposed after the Delhi Assembly Elections and will not be able to repeat` its results.
Jaipur: Dubbing AAP as "Congress`s proxy party", BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday said the Arvind Kejriwal-led outfit "has been exposed after the Delhi Assembly Elections and will not be able to repeat" its results.
"Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are the same. Congress could not win the elections so it contested through its proxy party, AAP, to stop BJP from coming to power in Delhi, but they have been exposed and this will not be repeated again," Naqvi said at a press conference here.
"AAP follows hit and run policy... In every two hours they pose a new question at the behest of Congress... I would say that it is a `bakwas mandali` (nonsense group), so there is no need to react to them," he said. On a question regarding former Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal`s attack on BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for his "connections" with Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, Naqvi said, "...AAP gets donations from international organisations and they should reveal it before the public first."
He said his party would get clear majority in the coming Lok Sabha elections and the next government will be of BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). "Our former partners are now coming with us and in coming days, some more people will be joining us. We will give a strong and stable government under the leadership of Narendra Modi," the BJP vice president said, referring to Ram Vilas Paswan-led LJP`s return to NDA.
