New Delhi: The Panjab University has shared the Management Entrance Test (MET) 2016 examination date on their official website puchd.ac.in

PU-MET exams will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Aspiring candidates can apply online for the exam before March 9, 2016.


Eligibility criteria:


Interested candidates who wish to take admission in 'MBA in Retail Management and Banking & Insurance Management' programme, should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline of Panjab University or any other recognised university.


For admission in 'MBA in IT & Telecommunication Management and Infrastructural Management' programme, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university or institute.


For admission in 'MBA in Pharmacutical Management' programme, candidates should possess a Bachelors' degree in Pharmacy or MBBS or Bachelor's degree in any science subject with 50% marks and diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks.


Exam pattern:


The entrance test will carry 85% weightage and of 2 hours duration. The paper will carry questions from General Knowledge, Economics and Business Environment Awareness, Data interpretation and problem solving, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability/Reasoning and English.


There shall be negative marking for wrong answers. For every wrong attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted.


Application fee: Rs 1,750 for General & Rs 875 SC/ST category


Last date to apply online: Wednesday, March 9, 2016


Last date for registration: Tuesday, February 9, 2016


Last date for Registration fee submission: Friday, February 15, 2016


Late date for submitting hard copy of application: Wednesday, March 9, 2016


Date of declaration of result: Monday, April 11, 2016
