New Delhi: In a first, an Orangutan has been observed mimicking human sounds, which has given scientists a clue of where the ability to communicate comes from.


Rocky, the Orangutan, from his home at the Indianapolis Zoo, has very effortlessly imitated sounds changing the pitch and tone to imitate the researcher.


This inturn has give scientists some clue about the evolution of human speech.
