In yet another shocking incident, a man in Goa has accused a sub-inspector of forcing him to strip and clicking his pictures while in custody of Vasco police in Goa.
Panaji: In yet another shocking incident, a man in Goa has accused a sub-inspector of forcing him to strip and clicking his pictures while in custody of Vasco police in Goa.
The 21-year-old youth alleged that a sub-inspector clicked his photos in the buff and threatened to upload them on social media if he failed to return money to a family, he had borrowed from.
The man is accused of not returning Rs 9,000, which he had borrowed from the family members of his girlfriend in September this year.
He registered a complaint against the sub-inspector at a police station today.
In his complaint, the man has accused the sub-inspector of asking him to remove clothes and clicking his photos while he was in custody of Vasco police. Furthermore, he has also accused the cop of thrashing him badly in the custody.
"He clicked my nude photos on his mobile and told me that he will keep them saved, for any complaint is made against him, he will upload the photos on social media," the complainant stated.
The young man said that he was called to the police station on October 27 again after his former girlfriend's mother had lodged a case against him for not returning Rs. 9,000 which he had taken from them.
He also accused a woman police sub-inspector Nehanda Tavares of harassing him at the police station.
"She asked her juniors to get scissors and cut my hair," the man alleged in his complaint.
When contacted, both Bhagat and Tavares refuted the allegations against them.
