Dalit toddlers` killing: Haryana CM Khattar to meet bereaved family today
The government has announced Rs 10 lakh and a job to the victims` family.
Faridabad: A day after the Haryana government recommended a CBI probe into the burning alive of two Dalit children, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will meet the bereaved family on Thursday.
Khattar will meet the family thier house at Sanped village in Ballabgarh near Faridabad. The CM was originally scheduled to meet them yesterday but his visit was later postponed to today.

Besides recommending a CBI probe, a SIT has also been formed, headed by Deputy Commissioner of Police, to probe the tragic case. The SIT will probe the case before CBI takes it over, police sources said. Once the CBI probe gets notified, the investigation details will be handed over to them as per procedure.

The Police have arrested four accused in the case so far. A top police official said the incident, according to investigations so far, was the result of enmity between Dalit and the Rajput families of the village.
