Abdullah asks security agencies to be vigilant against ultras
Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah has asked law enforcing agencies to be more vigilant against the designs of militants in the state.

The people and the security agencies should unitedly fight against the evil designs of militants and ensure peace in their areas, he said, addressing a meeting of district development board at Rajouri on Tuesday.
He asked the executing agencies to make proper use of allocations and ensure that the benefits reached the people. Referring to the terrorist attack on Washington and New York on Septmber 11, Abdullah said that today's world is in need of peace, tranquility and stability and there is no space for terrorism and militancy.
All the peace loving countries have condemned strongly the act and are one with USA to eliminate the dragon of terrorism from the world for good, he said.
Earlier, district development commissioner K A Khan said current year's plan for the district had been revised and fixed at Rs 48.93 crore. Earlier it was fixed at Rs 38.93 crore.
Education Minister Mohammad Shafi, who is also the chairman of the DDB, works minister Ali Mohammad Sagar, Minister of State for rural development Ajay Sadhotra, minister of state for revenue Choudhary Mohammad Hussain and Minister of State for social welfare M A Bukhari were also present.
