Rajasthan government plans to construct a Haj house' in Jaipur to provide facilities to Muslim pilgrims preparing to visit Mecca. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot assured chairman of the Central Haj Committee Tanvir Ahmed, who met him in Jaipur, that an appropriate site for the building was being identified, an official release said on Wednesday. Minister of state for Waqf Abdul Aziz, who was also present at the meeting, said the proposed Haj house' would cost Rs five crore. The Central Haj Committee would contribute 20 per cent of the construction cost, he said. Bureau Report
