Watch: Nihal Bitla, a boy with rare 'Ageing Disease' Progeria dies in Telangana

New Delhi: The 15-year-old boy who was the Face of Progeria in India breathed his last on Monday night in Telangana.

While attending a family function, Nihal Bitla suffered severe dehydration before being admitted to a hospital on Monday evening.

The Boston-based Progeria Research Foundation announced Nihal's death on his facebook page today.

Till date there is no cure for Progeria. It is a rare genetic disorder known to have a short life expectancy.

Nihal has won a legion of admirers for his ability to stay strong and optimistic while fighting a serious battle with this deadly disease.
