State additional director general of police(railways) Jyoti Kumar Sinha told newspersons here today that district magistrates, police superintendents and SPs(railway) had been asked to arrange special patrolling and to remain on maximum alert to deal with any eventuality. Mr Singh said railway police had been deputed for night patrolling. He said a crisis management group had also been formed at the police headquarters to chalk out follow up action in case of any untoward incident. Meanwhile, a Samastipur report, quoting acting divisional security commissioner Ram Singh, said red alert had been sounded in the entire Samastipur railway division close to Indo-Nepal border. Railway protection force jawans were deputed at Raxaul, Jainagar, Samastipur and other railway stations under the division besides taking other precautionary measure to prevent any untoward eventuality.
