Go footwear shopping: In monsoons, our feet are most prone to fungal infections as it encounters a lot of mud and water. So, make sure to take proper precautions and wash your feet as often as required, using an antiseptic liquid to keep such water-borne allergies at bay. Always keep your toe-nails clipped and wear open-toes plastic sandals for a thorough air-passage so that your feet dry quickly during the season of humidity.

Pedicure cure: To combat foot allergies, going for a pedicure every 15 days seems a great option during the downpour. Round upon the latest tea-tree pedicure, which is anti-fungal, disinfecting and antiseptic in nature, is best for treating foot issues in monsoon. It keeps corns, toe-allergies and other water-borne allergies of feet miles away. Not only this, the soothing texture of the tea-tree oil moisturises the feet up to a great extent, giving you ramp-ready feet.

Look into kitchen: As a quick solution, you may try this homemade pedicure – for this, add 1 tbsp shampoo, 1 tbsp table-salt along with few drops of antiseptic lotion into a bucket of lukewarm water and mix. Now, dip your feet in this solution for 10 minutes and scrub the dead skin off using a pumice stone and wash away with cool water. Pat the feet dry with a towel and massage using rich moisturizing cream. You may also shove off dead cuticles using a cuticle remover, but be sure to stay careful while doing it and do not try to mess up with ingrown nails, which should only be extracted by a professional.

Ban the tan: If your summer tan is still with you, try banning it with a blend of curd and powder scrub. Mix both in a way that it forms a paste without adding water. Now, massage your feet using this mixture in circular motion and rinse off. Implementing it regularly is quite important to have tanning gone and brightness on!

Nourish, nurture: In case you have dry skin, try the following concoction to soothe the dryness on your paws. Just add equal amount of glycerin, rose water and lemon juice and blend it in a bowl till the sugar dissolves. Apply this after thoroughly washing your feet, preferably at nights and rinse off to reveal fairer and brighter looking toes in a go. Follow this up by applying a rich nourishing cream and sleep on with your cotton socks. You will notice a baby-like feet the very next morning.
