New Delhi: An earthquake measuring 4.2 on Richter scale hit Haryana on Thursday.
 
The tremors were felt in Delhi and the National Capital Region. It is being said that the epicentre of the earthquake was around 13 kilometres south-east of Bawal in Haryana. The earthquake reportedly had a depth of 10 kilometres.

The tremors, which lasted nearly a minute, were felt around 4:30 am.


The quake also shook some parts of Rajasthan.


There was no immediate loss of life and property reported from anywhere in the city. Many people tweeted about the earthquake despite the tremor hitting early in the morning.
