All the CMs are in the national meeting and had attended the NITI Aayog meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier in the day.

Shah is expected to discuss the political situation in various states and chart out the way forward.

The party president has been travelling around the country to meet party workers and review the 'Maha Sampark Abhiyan' being conducted by the party to expand the party's base.

The BJP has been facing fire in recent months over allegations against its senior leaders and ministers.

Given the tough fight expected in Bihar, Shah has a big task at hand to ensure that BJP's winning streak post 2014 – Delhi was an exception – continues.
