The suggestion came following a meeting between Hazare and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas.

The maximum criticism on the Bill from Anna Hazare came for the change in appointment and removal process of Jan Lokpal. Reportedly, Anna Hazare has suggested that there should be an inquiry by a High Court judge for removal of Jan Lokpal.

The Delhi government has said that it is open to suggestions by Anna Hazare on the Jan Lokpal Bill.

Earlier, on Tuesday, AAP leaders Kumar Vishwas and Sanjay Singh had met social activist Anna Hazare at his village Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district to brief him on the salient features of anti-corruption legislation Jan Lokpal Bill tabled in Delhi Assembly by the Arvind Kejriwal government on Monday.

One of its prominent poll promises, the AAP emphasised that the Bill is similar to its original 2011 version.

The Bill has to be cleared by the Lieutenant Governor before it becomes a law.
