Anupam Kher is a real life villain: Yogi Adityanath
Bharatiya Janata Party (MP) Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday lashed out at Anupam Kher, saying that the Bollywood actor is a real life villain, a report said on Wednesday.
Gorakhpur: Bharatiya Janata Party (MP) Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday lashed out at Anupam Kher, saying that the Bollywood actor is a real life villain, a report said on Wednesday.
The Gorakhpur MP's sarcastic comments come amidst Kher's reported remarks that Adityanath and Sadhvi Prachi speak nonsense and should be thrown out of the BJP.
Adityanath said, "Anupam Kher is not only a reel life villain, but also in real life".
According to a report published in 'The Times of India', Kher, while speaking during a discussion on "growing intolerance" in Kolkata, reportedly said, "Adityanath and Sadhvi Prachi, who speak nonsense, should be thrown out of BJP and put behind bars."
Last year, the veteran actor came in defence of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, after Yogi Adityanath made some scathing remarks against the 'king of romance'.
Condemning BJP MP Yogi Adityanath's remark against SRK, Kher said that the remark is unfortunate.
“Yogi Adityanath's remark is unfortunate and cheap. He is BJP's Digvijaya Singh,” he said.
Kher's statement came after Adityanath slammed the Bollywood superstar and compared him to Pakistan-based terrorist organisation Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed.
