Bihar polls: Modi failed to deliver, no sign of `acchhe din`, says Rahul Gandhi
Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi said that the NDA government has completed one year but there is no sign of `acche din` which he promised to the people.
Araria: In a scathing attack, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi on Monday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making false promises to people to remain in power.
He said that the NDA government has completed one year but there is no sign of 'acchhe din' (good days) which he promised to the people.
The Congress leader, who was addressing an election rally in Araria in Bihar, said that instead of good days the prices of the essential commodities have increased manifold, making the life of the common man miserable.
“Dal prices have shot up to Rs.200 per kg! What will the poor man eat? Modi ji don't want people to eat dal and roti,” he alleged.
“Modi ji had promised employment to one member of each household did he able to fulfil that promise?” he asked.
The Congress leader also criticised the prime minister's “Make in India” initiative and said that did it able to create any jobs for the people.
He claimed that big businesses are getting plump contracts from the government but the common men are suffering.
He accused the prime minister of making false promises to the people on the issue of black money.
“Modi ji promised to bring back black money from the Swiss bank. Each individual was to get Rs.15 lakhs what happened to that,” he asked.
