BJP congratulates security forces for successful ops in North Garo Hills

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday congratulated the army and the Meghalaya Police for conducting a successful joint operation against terrorists in the North Garo Hills.

"Security forces must be complemented for every successful achievement," BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao told ANI. 

Earlier in the day, the army and the Meghalaya Police killed two Achik Matgrik Elite Force (AMEF) terrorists in the North Garo Hills district at the Assam-Meghalaya border.According to reports, the security forces recovered two pistols, two fired cases and a bag from the killed terrorists.
