Blow for Asaduddin Owaisi as complaint filed against him in a Hyderabad court for `promoting enmity`
In a setback to AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, a private complaint has been filed against him a Hyderabad court.
Hyderabad: In a setback to AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, a private complaint has been filed against him a Hyderabad court.
The complaint was filed against the AIMIM leader in Malkajgiri's Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Hyderabad to book him under Sec 153 A.
Section 153A in The Indian Penal Code talks about promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony.
Earlier, on Monday, Owaisi made headlines when he said that won't chant Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
"I won't utter that (slogan) even if you hold a knife to my throat," Owaisi had said.
Asaduddin Owaisi mocked RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s recent suggestions that the new generation learn to Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
