"Rifleman Mandeep Singh was killed in an ambush by the Pakistani Army and later his was body mutilated. This is the most cowardly and provocative act on the part of the Pakistani Army which deserves a befitting reply from India," JKPCC spokesman, Ravinder Sharma said.

Sharma said that Pakistan was leaving no stone unturned to lauch a full scale war on India, which has been maintaining restraint for quite a long time.

"Border residents are fed up with the continuous firing and shelling and it would be in the best interest of the people if India answers Pakistan with its full might so that Pakistan does not dare to raise its head again," he said.
