Delhi: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that his country was pursuing policy of good relations with India, as per a media report.

Sharif made the comments while talking to Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Gautam Bambawale, as per India Today.


He added that Pakistan was pursuing policy of good relations with other neighbouring countries also.


Sharif was quoted as saying by the website, "Mutual cooperation between Pakistan and India can lead to socio-economic uplift of both the countries."


Sharif is said to have extended a warm welcome to the Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad on February 24.


On the other hand, the Bambawale also expressed his gratitude towards the Pakistani PM.
