New Delhi: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2015 exam, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for aspiring teachers was held across the country on Sunday.

The exam, which is conducted twice a year, took place at 988 centres across the country.


The examination was scheduled to be held in two parts - Paper I and II.


While Paper I was to be held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, aspirants appearing for Paper II from 9:30 am to 12 pm.


Those clearing Paper I will be eligible to become teachers between Classes I-V while Paper II will be for the teachers between Classes VI-VIII.


Candidates who wish to be teachers for both levels are required to appear for both the papers.


The admit card for the candidates were available for download on the official website of CTET.


The results will be announced on April 1, 2015.
