In his letter to Najeeb Jung he said, "I received letter from your office but what you have written in it is against the provisions of law and Constitution hence it can not be implemented.”

He added, “However in this regard the Chief Minister is writing a letter to the Prime Minister,” as per ANI.

Meanwhile, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will meet President Pranab Mukherjee tomorrow and will take up issues like appointments of bureaucrats and other 'unilateral actions' by Lt Governor.

Kejriwal's office said the meeting will take place at 6 PM tomorrow.

On Saturday, the CM had sought an appointment with Mukherjee following his bitter face-off with Jung over the appointment of Power Secretary Shakuntala Gamlin as acting Chief Secretary of Delhi.

Sources said Kejriwal will take up with Mukherjee "all unilateral decisions" taken by the Lt Governor "ignoring" the views of the elected government including transfer and posting of bureaucrats and his directive to route key files through his office.

They said Kejriwal will discuss the role and jurisdiction of the LG's office, as per PTI.

The confrontation over appointment of Gamlin as acting chief secretary had turned into a full-blown war between the ruling AAP and Jung last week with Kejriwal alleging that the LG was trying to take over the administration. Despite Kejriwal's strong opposition, Jung had appointed Gamlin to the post on Friday. On Saturday, the chief minister had asked her not to take charge of the post but she ignored his directive and followed the LG's order.

On the other hand, Sisodia took to micro-blogging site on Monday to enumerate his government's achievements and hit out at the Opposition who were critical of Aam Aadmi Party.

Sisodia posted on Twitter: “Delhi government is working with full speed. I took decisions on 100 files today. We are working on issues like unauthorised colonies and compensation to farmers.”

Hitting at the Opposition he said, “Those behind higher power tariffs and corruption will not understand this. So they can make as much noise as they can, I can vouch that AAP is the only party till now to work in the fastest possible manner in the interest of the people.”
