New Delhi: The Delhi government Bill to exclude the post of Parliamentary Secretary from the office of profit has been refused assent by the President Pranab Mukherjee, raising questions over the fate of 21 AAP MLAs, who have been appointed to the posts.

The refusal puts a question mark over the membership of 21 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs, who have been appointed Parliamentary Secretaries by the Arvind Kejriwal government.


Here is the list of 21 AAP MLAs whose membership may be cancelled:-

21 Sukhvir Singh was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to Minister of Languages and Welfare of SC/ST/OBC respectively



Petitions have been filed with the President seeking disqualification of the these MLAs on the ground that they occupied office of profit in violation of Constitution.
