Food safety officials have collected samples of cow milk's 'desi ghee' manufactured by Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved after allegations were levelled about presence of fungus in ghee, according to a report in TOI.


The allegations about fungus in Patanjali's 'desi ghee' was raised by some locals in Uttarakhand's Haridwar.


District food safety officer of Haridwar Mahima Nand Joshi has confirmed that the samples have been collected for tests after reports of fungus in 'desi ghee' were received.


The report of test is expected to come out in a fortnight.
