“When I was CEO of Star TV, Indrani was running M/s.INX Services. During the period in 2004, Indrani…insisted that flat number 18 may be registered in the joint name of Indrani and me. ..Indrani threatened that she will jump from the fourth floor. To avoid any untoward incident, I transferred 50 per cent shares of flat number 18 in the name of Indrani and got the flat registered in our joint name,” Peter's statement was quoted by Indian Express.

In his statement, Peter has claimed that the couple stayed on rent in flat number 18 in Marlow Apartments on Indrani's insistence. However, not a single penny was paid by Indrani.

He further added that Flat No.19 on 5th Floor, which was purchased by the couple in the same building in 2005 for Rs 75 lakh, was also in the joint name of him and Indrani.
