Ever since they have been arrested in connection with Sheena Bora murder case, rumours are rife that nothing is going fine in Indrani and Peter Mukejrea`s relationship.
Mumbai: Ever since they have been arrested in connection with Sheena Bora murder case, rumours are rife that nothing is going fine in Indrani and Peter Mukejrea’s relationship.
A report has claimed that the couple is now fighting over a flat in Worli, with each of them claiming right over it.
The cost of the flat is estimated to be around Rs 15 to 20 crore.
Indrani Mukerjea has sent a legal missive to Marlow housing society in Worli, where she shared a 3,000 sq ft fifth floor duplex flat with husband Peter, telling them she has first right over the property and that nobody can sell it without her consent, states a Mid Day report.
The report further states that Peter is planning to sell the flat to pay off the bills of his legal team.
The flat was allegedly gifted to Vidhie Mukerjea (Indrani and Sanjeev’s daughter) under a gift deed on January 07, 2011.
Indrani’s lawyers Mahesh Jethmalani and Gunjan Mangla on Tuesday sent the three-page letter to the secretary of Marlow Co-operative Housing Society in Pochkhanawala Road in Worli, the report quoted sources close to the family as saying.
Sources have also added that according to the clauses of the gift deed to Vidhie, it is “clear that the same was subject to an express reservation of Indrani’s right to continue to reside in the said flat during her lifetime without any hindrance from the Donee (a person who receives a gift) or her agents, servants or any other person lawfully claiming.”
