“Prime Minister Narendra Modi needs to tell the country whether issue of terror boat and high life of Lakhvi in Pakistani jail was raised,” Tiwari told ANI.

He further asked whether Pakistan gave assurance that they will stop patronizing Hurriyat or dismantle terror networks targeting India.

Targeting Modi, Tiwari added, “If that's not the case then why did PM let Foreign Secretary go to Pakistan? It was his government which decided to call off talks.”

Jaishankar is currently on a two-day visit to Pakistan as part of PM Modi's SAARC Yatra initiative.

He held a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhary yesterday and delivered a letter from Modi to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Discussion on various issues including peace process, cross-border terrorism, ceasefire violations and Mumbai terror attacks case were held.
