Patna: Facebook users on Monday strongly lashed out at Nitish Kumar-led JDU's MLC Neeraj Kumar over 'double standards'.

JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar, in a Facebook post, had condemned JNU students' union president Kanhaiya Kumar remarks on liquor ban.


"Kanhaiya Kumar's objection to liquor ban in Bihar is condemnable,"  Neeraj Kumar said in a Facebook post.


Soon after the JDU MLC wrote the post on Facebook, the social networking website users started slamming him over 'double standards'.


"You went to recieve Kanhaiya Kumar from airport, as if he is a social worker," a user wrote slamming Neeraj Kumar.


"Your government (Nitish's) welcomed him (Kanhaiya Kumar) more than a son-in-law," slammed another user.

JNU Students' Union president Kanhaiya Kumar, who is facing sedition charges and is out on bail, had met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad in Patna on April 30.


Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested on the charge of sedition in February in connection with an event at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus commemorating the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.
