New Delhi: Here is a good news for the candidates of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) who had appeared for the JEE Main paper I and II offline exam, conducted on April 3 and paper I online exam on April 9 and 10, 2016.

According to media reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to declare the results on April 27.


About 12 lakh students appeared for the offline examinations, as per The Indian Express.


The joint engineering entrance test is the eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced) which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.


Top 1,50,000 score holders in JEE Main will qualify for the JEE Advanced exam which will be held on May 23, 2016.


The registrations for JEE (Advanced) are beginning from April 29 and will close on May 4.
