New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2016 notification. The candidates can check the details of examination below:

Details of examination:


The exam will be conducted in two separate modes i.e. paper based and computer based exam. The exam will have two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) will consist of objective type questions based on Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.


Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) will comprise of objective type questions based on Mathematics (Part 1), Aptitude Test (Part 2) and Drawing Test (Part 3).


The exam will be held for a duration of three hours. The paper based exam will be conducted on April 3, 2016 and computer based exam will held on April 9, 2016 and April 10, 2016. The eligible candidates should apply online, the link for the same is jeemain.nic.in, latest by December 31.


The admission to undergraduate Engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating state governments, and several other Institutions are open now. The candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their performances in the Joint Entrance Exam, JEE (Main).
