Major terror hideout busted in Poonch, IEDs and ammunition recovered

Poonch: Busting a major terror hideout, the Indian Army recovered several improvised explosive devices (IED) and ammunition from Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir.
The joint operation was conducted on Tuesday evening by the Rashtriya Rifles battalion, Territorial Army and the Jammu and Kashmir police.
The arms and ammunition recovered from the hideout include three IED Cylinder (3 Kg Each), bottle shaped IED 500 gms, two AK magazine, 112 rounds of AK, one Chinese grenade, 41 PIKA ammunition, two IED triggers and two metre wires.
The haul also included a broken radio set, a SIM card and two Pakistan currency notes.
Meanwhile, the Army has been engaged in a search operation to flush out hiding terrorists from the Rajwar forests in Handwara and so far three security personnel have been injured, including a Lieutenant-Colonel and two jawans.
