A massive earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter Scale rocked Eastern and North Eastern part of India on Monday morning.
Tamenglong: A massive earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter Scale rocked Eastern and North Eastern part of India on Monday morning.
Here are top 5 developments:-
1) The quake occurred at 4.35 AM at a depth of 17 km below the ground.
2)- The epicentre is located at somewhere in Tamenglong district of Manipur. The epicentre has been located at Long 24.8 Deg North and Lat 93.5 Deg East.
3)- The earthquake was felt in parts of Manipur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura.
4)- India's northeast is considered the sixth major earthquake-prone belt in the world.
5)- Death toll has risen to 6 and nearly 100 have been injured till reports last came in.
