New Delhi/Kohima: The Nagaland Board of School Education is likely to declare the NBSE results 2016 on Tuesday May 3, 2016.

The students who had appeared for the board examinations of Class 10 and 12 can get a sigh of relief on May 3 since the results of both High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) (Class 10) results and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) (Class 12) examination results 2016, will be declared on this same day itself.


According to media reports, lakhs of students had appeared for SSC Class 10th exams and HSC Class 12 exams. Now they will have to wait for only 4 more days to know their results.


Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) is primarily responsible for promotion and development of secondary education in Nagaland. It was established by an Act of the Nagaland Assembly legislative Assembly on November 15, 1973. It started functioning from 1st October, 1974.


The examinations conducts HSSLC, Class 11 promotion exam, HSLC exam, Class 9 final examination and JEE exams.

  1. Students can check their results on these websites: www.nagaland.gov.in , www.nbsenagaland.com
  2. Enter your roll number and date of birth in the respective fields.
  3. Click on 'submit'.
  4. The students can download the PDF files of their results for future references.
