Doctors have said that Raut may grow upto 8 feet to make him the world's tallest person.

“I always hit my head when I’m walking around the house and in school, and I can’t fit in our car or sit properly at my school desk,” he told MailOnline.

Raut wears size 15 shoes, according to Mail.

However, Raut's immediate family members are not as tall as him.

His father is only 5 feet 5 inches tall, his mother stands at 4 feet 5 inches and sister Triveni measures 5 feet.

Raut hails from Solapur in Maharashtra.

“I don’t fit on my bed so I can’t sleep properly at night. We need a customised bed but we haven’t got round to it yet,” he said.

But his biggest fear is that he will never find a wife to match his height when the time comes for him to settle down, Mail said citing Raut.

Raut has applied to Guinness World Records but he will have to wait till he’s 18 to be considered for one of their records.

“I can only hope I keep growing. I’d love to be in the book of Guinness World Records,” Mail quoted him as saying.
