This is the first admission by Pakistan that the terror attack slowed down the talks process between the two neighbouring countries.

India has given "specific and actionable information" to Pakistan soon after the Pathankot attack reportedly carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists on the intervening night of January 1 and 2 that killed seven Indian soldiers.

Maulana Masood Azhar, chief of Pakistan-based terror group JeM has been accused by India of plotting the Pathankot attack.

Pakistan is yet to inform India if it has registered any criminal case against the JeM or any of its activists for the Pathankot attack.
