New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited ailing External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who is undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for chest congestion and fever, last night.

According to reports, the Prime Minister reached the hospital at 9 pm and left at around 9.25 pm.


The AIIMS has reportedly claimed that the 64-year-old leader's condition is stable and is showing signs of improvement.


Swaraj was admitted to the hospital on Monday night after she complained of chest pain. She was initially admitted to Pulmonary Medicine Department of the AIIMS in on Monday evening, but was later shifted to Cardio-Neuro Centre of the hospital around 10 pm.


The 64-year-old minister, who has a history of diabetes, is currently under observation by a team of multi-specialists.
