"The Prime Minister is supposed to speak about the country's ' Mann Ki Baat'. He is not here to speak what the Congress wants," said Naqvi.

On Sunday, the Congress had said that it was disappointed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann ki Baat' address as he failed to speak on several critical issues.

In the ninth edition of his 'Mann ki Baat', the Prime Minister spoke on the importance of water conservation and called for the people to partake in his 'Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao' initiative, as well as hailing the worldwide celebrations of the International Yoga Day.

The Mann ki Baat programme, which aims to deliver the Prime Minister's voice to the general masses of the country, was first aired on October 3, 2014.
