During a debate at India Today, Swamy said that he is ready for out of court settlement over the matter which Owaisi rejected outright, stating the Supreme Court should have a final say.

“Let the Supreme Court decide. This is a conspiracy of Hindutva forces. If Ram Temple is their priority then let BJP admit it that it is their foremost agenda. This government has completely forgotten governance,” Owaisi said.

In response, Swamy said, “There is division of labour between me and PM Modi. He focuses on governance and other issues and I focus on Ram Mandir.”

Further accusing the Samajwadi Party of not opposing the constructional material being sent to Ayodhya, Owaisi said that both SP and BJP are hand in gloves with each other.
