A Meerut court has accepted the plea filed by the Mahasabha.

“ In India whenever one enters a place of worship they have to take their shoes off. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan aren't above that. We had written to the TV channel to edit the part where they showed them wearing shoes in temple, but they didn't,” president of Hindu Mahasabha Bharat Rajput was quoted as saying by ANI.

“Will take this issue forward in public and Parliament,” he further added.
