New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) nearly three weeks ago, was on Sunday discharged from the hospital.

Sushma complaint of chest congestion and fever after which she was admitted to the hospital. 


Sushma was under an intensive car and was examined by a team of doctors while she was hospitalized. It was only after she was declared fit, she was discharged. 


"Swaraj was being treated for pneumonia and the infection had also caused mild renal impairment. She was treated by a group of specialists and was discharged after the doctors declared her fit," TOI quoted AIIMS director MC Mishra as saying.
