New Delhi: Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, who will arrive in Bihar on Monday for a two-day trip to India, is scheduled to hold delegation-level talks with his Indian counterpart, to increase economic engagement s between the two countries.

He will begin his tour from Gaya, where he will visit the Bodhgaya temple and the Vietnam Buddhism Pagoda. The visiting dignitary will also meet state Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.


On the second of his visit, Dung will hold delegation level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. He will call on President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will also call on the Vietnamese Prime Minister.


This is the Vietnamese Prime Minister's third visit to India.


Dung, who is on his third visit to India, will be accompanied by a 50-member business delegation.
