Vietnamese diplomat booked for rash and negligent driving in Delhi
The Delhi Police on Tuesday filed an FIR against a diplomat from Vietnam on charges of rash and negligent driving.
New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Tuesday filed an FIR against a diplomat from Vietnam on charges of rash and negligent driving.
The incident took place in South Delhi yesterday.
Since the Diplomat comes under international convention, a report will be submitted to Ministry of Home Affairs, later to be handed over to the Ministry of External Affairs.
The FIR was filed under Section 279 in The Indian Penal Code- Rash driving or riding on a public way, on the complaint of Mrs. Arti Gupta.
